Sekem economic pole encompasses several specialized companies that ensure the cultivation, the production and the marketing of Sekem’s products. SEKEM Holding the umbrella organisation insures supervision, evaluation and support of the growing number of the group’s subsidiaries:

Sekem cultural pole
is articulated around 2 organisations:

The Sekem Development foundation (SDF), was created in 1984 to provide training in arts and sciences for Sekem employees. It has since expanded its scope of action and has established research, educational, medical, vocational, and cultural entities which all contribute to the implementation of Sekem’s holistic vision within the larger community. Innovative programs focusing on literacy, on special needs education, on social and political rights empowerment for women or on the integration of children from disadvantaged backgrounds (Chamomile Children Project) have indeed been implement as tool to foster a comprehensive approach of community development.

The Egyptian Biodynamic Association (EBDA) created in 1994 as an NGO, provides biodynamic research, agricultural training, and consulting services to farmers throughout Egypt. It covers activities ranging from organic farming, composting, integrated pest management to expertise in transition to certified organic cultivation.

Sekem social pole is constituted by the Farmers Development Association (FDA) and the Cooperative of Sekem Employees (CSE) founded in 2000. It aims at reinforcing values of respect and dignity for each indivual member of Sekem 's workforce as well as in the community at large.

Both entities work to implement fair practices in the workplace, and promote compliance with ethical corporate governance standards and human rights.
